The Tobacco Root Geological Society is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the study of geology of the Northern Rocky Mountain Province.

2008 Field Scholarship Awards

The TRGS is pleased to be able to award TWELVE scholarships this year, totaling $4,350. Scholarship amounts ranged from $100 General Assistance grants to $750 for the top TRGS and Harrison Scholars. There were no applicants that qualified for the Michael Thompson Foster (Prospector) Scholarship this year.
