The engineering geology tour of Libby Dam was led by Dick Galster - who was the lead geologist working on the dam back in the 1960s.
Don Winston led a Belt trip (what else is new?) together with Tim Wheeler. Bruce Cox (right) visited some gigantic stromatolites.
(Left) Carter Hearn and Dick Berg examine the outcrop closely. (Right) John Whitmer and Rob Foster.
(Left) Derek Feeback took us into the Troy Mine. (Right) Leigh Lake was the destination on the informal "leaderless" trip organized by Hargrave, Lonn, and Cox. (photo by Dick Gibson)
A river runs through it. In this case, the Kootenai.
